I have been a Radiation Therapist for over 20 years, working not only with cancer patients and their caregivers, but with physicians, nurses and other care team members as well. I am also a clinical instructor for Argosy University's radiation therapy program based in Eagan, MN., working with college students studying this field of work. I attend seminars on effective teaching and esteem building, generational understanding and curriculum development.
I have taught all levels of ballet at the Performing Arts Center, training dancers from six to eighteen years of age. I have choreographed for all levels for performances given by the center, including those featured at local churches and schools. I have held the position of Assistant Director since 2002, helping with tasks such as scheduling classes, registering students, parent conferences, ordering costumes and running rehearsals. I continue my own study of dance in attending classes in ballet, jazz and modern held at the Performing Arts Center and participate in workshops given by guest artists.
Studied ballet under Ms. Gobel, who received her training and performing experience in Paris, France. I taught various levels of classes when she was unable to be present. I also assisted her in costume ordering and choreography for her annual performances.
