Safety oversight of aviation maintenance technicians (AMTs) and maintenance facilities for private and commercial operators. Certification of airmen, aircraft, and air agencies operating under Federal AviationRegulation(FAR) parts 43, 65, 91, 135, 141, and 145.
Providing guidance to individuals and organizations seeking FAA certification and data approval for major repairs, major alterations, Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs), and Parts manufacturing approvals (PMAs) for repair stations, private individuals, and other aviation related organizations.Providing training in Safety Management Systems (SMS), human factors in maintenance, and understanding the Federal Aviation Regulations for Air Agencies, Air Operators, and Independent Maintenance Providers.
