Seeking the position of Connection Ministries Administrator bringing the following experience, skills and attributes:
Extensive experience working with the general public, educational and other settings. Interface well with others at all levels including professionals, parents, students and children. Caring and hardworking with attention to detail, excellent interpersonal communication, customer service and office support skills. Windows, Word, Excel, various software experience
Assist with student registration. Update, edit and disperse staff handbooks. Receive and screen a high volume of internal and external communications including phone and email relating to student attendance. Issue and record pre-approved dismissal passes. Greet and assist students, parents, visitors, and school/district staff. Produce hourly, daily and monthly attendance reports that produce a variety of parent letters including truancy and loss of credit, with some being submitted to Anoka County. Process and enter all discipline incidents. September and October include preparation leading to Academic Lettering Ceremony. January-June involve multiple and detailed preparations leading to graduation including ordering diplomas, gowns, honors accessories and creating the Commencement program. Other various duties as assigned. Trained and assist in emergency evacuation procedures with Administration to ensure safety of all people.
Escorted students to their classes throughout the day. Often would work in small groups with students helping them with classwork. Worked together with teachers and staff to help create a successful learning environment for students I worked with, including modifications of curriculum and/or expectations in the classroom.
Assisted with student registration. Recorded and tracked attendance for state requirements along with other purposes requested by staff, included tardies, attendance letters, supervision of students in office for discipline reasons. Daily attendance staff emails sent out. Assisted parents with registration and designated contact person for ISIS, an online student information program. Various front desk duties including answering incoming calls, student dismissals, greeting visitors and parents, mail distribution and end of day announcements.
