I have been an ordained minister in the PCA since November, 2018. I was ordained in the Palmetto Presbytery, and I served two years as the assistant pastor as Rose Hill PCA. I preached almost every week for over a year. I have led worship and administered the Lord's Supper many times. I taught multiple adult Sunday school classes on a wide range of topics and books of the Bible. I taught our children's communicant's class twice. I was the chair and developer of our church's missions committee, which included developing a missions policy as well as being the liason to our missionaries. I was trained as the team leader for our church's first ministry to the local elementary school with the Good News Club. I have counseled, visited, and ministered to many of our congreration in various ways.
I received a full-ride scholarship to play football. I transferred after my sophomore year.
I grew up in a very strict, religious family. The church was a very important part of our lives.
I attended a local Christian school where I played basketball and football.

I transferred to Wheaton College and played football there for two years. I graduated with a degree in English Literature.
After college, I traveled to Bogota, Colombia in South America to teach physical education at a Christian school. I met my wife and we had our first child in Bogota.
We moved back to the United States to Columbia, South Carolina to attend Erskine Theological Seminary.
I taught PE and high school Bible at Northside Christian Academy for four years during seminary.
My wife and I have been married for 6 years and we have five children.
