  • Command Staff Chief, commanding the Bureau of Engineering, the Bureau of Equipment, Facilities, and Management, and the Logistics Center, and their nearly $35 million budget.
  • Oversaw specification, manufacture, maintenance and repair of all apparatus. Led procurement of all apparatus, equipment, and supplies for medical and fire suppression activities.
  • Directed marketing, outreach, and informational briefings for public safety bond, securing $412 million in funding.
  • SFFD's Project Manager in the design and construction of the $243 million Public Safety Building and firehouse.
  • Chief of all water supply: dedicated underground hydrant system, fireboats, and all relevant facilities including maintenance, dry dock repairs, and capital improvements.
  • Logistics Chief for all long-period events, disasters, and exercises. Liaison to city-wide logistics center.
  • Represented SFFD on city's Traffic Advisory Safety Committee planning city-wide traffic calming and transit corridors.
