Sports have played a huge role in my life for as long as I can remember. From t-ball, track and soccer in my youth, to volleyball, basketball and softball in high school; it helped shape who I became as an adult. My experience as a basketball player began early in 3rd grade and continued through college.
After years of playing, coaching became a natural progression to keep me sharp and involved in the sport I love. I started coaching as early as high school where I worked for several youth basketball camps during the off-season. After moving to Folsom, I continued coaching first as an assistant at Folsom High for the JV Women's team, and later within the Folsom Youth Basketball Association. For the last five years I have coached and been a part of the Lady Talons competitive program.
As a mother of three and manager of 130 staff members within my job, I spend my days teaching, mentoring and leading teams. I love to work with individuals and groups to build skills, see improvements and celebrate successes. Coaching is an extension of this and perfect blend of my interpersonal skills and passion for athletics.
