Joined the military on December 17th 2001.
Went to basic training at Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo after my junior year in school. Returned to high school for my senior year. Then back to Ft. Leonard Wood for Advanced Individual Training (AIT)
Was a part of the 342nd Chemical Company out of Urbana, Il
Team Leader
As a Team Leader I trained troops on their job and duties.
Gave safety briefings, classes, and missions.
Made convoy manifest and travel routes.
Maintained 100% accountability of a large section of equipment worth over $20 million during my time as Team Leader.
Maintained sensitive items, equipment, and personnel on a frequent basis.
Went to Nuclear, chemical and biological classes
Lived in Germany from 2007-2008 and was in the Reserves over there.
Became a Veteran when I was deployed in 2004-2005 to Kuwait/ Iraq
While there I did Quick Reaction Force (QRF)
Force Protection (searched vehicles and personnel coming in and out of the base and worked the guard tower.)
Was apart of the Mayor Cell
Kept track of base personnel and equipment.
Made sure all units had supplies.
Helped units if they needed anything.
Awarded the Army Achievement Medal in 2005 for pad manager of the month.
Received Global War on Terrorism Service Expeditionary Medal.
Received the Army Service Ribbon.
Received the Nation Defense Service Medal.
Received the Armed Forces Reserve Medal W/M Device.
Unloaded and stored raw material deliveries.
Built nest on the computer for the machine to cut.
Cleaned the parts after being cut.
Labeled the parts and shipped them to next location.
Graduated in 2003 with a 2.9 G.P.A.
Was in JROTC
Involved with the rifle team and drill team.
