Trained to identify the components and explain the function and basic maintenance of aircraft safety equipment including: oxygen, canopy, ejection seat, defogging, cabin pressurization, air conditioning, anti-gravity, windshield wash, rain removal, and fire extinguishing systems.
Methods of instruction include classroom exercises, computer-based training, discussion, laboratory, lecture, and practical exercises.
Trained in basic knowledge and skills in the field of environmental systems operation, maintenance and safety.
