As an Administrative Assistant, some of my duties include managing co-workers, being time efficient, clear communication, being punctual and professional, and more. This job has taught me to be a leader and manage my time in order to accomplish the most amount of work in the least amount of time. I am consistently having to make a plan and execute it. I work with other assistants during the day which calls for constant communication in order to efficiently accomplish the day's workload. We are asked to complete our duties with minimal oversight.
During my time as a key driver at Jimmy John's, I learned a great deal about customer service and how to deal with customers who might not be satisfied with their purchase or the service that was provided. I learned how to make a bad situation better for a customer. I also spent time going from business to business handing out samples in order to get the Jimmy John's product and name more out there. Doing this taught me how to really sell something to a potential customer.
My time spent as a Water Conservator taught me to become a better problem solver. When I discovered a sprinkler head or system was not functioning properly or performing as it should, I had to brainstorm and come up with ways to fix the problem. It was always very rewarding to come up with a solution that benefits the company.
Some of my hobbies include playing sports such as basketball, tennis, and pickleball. I enjoy spending time outside going on hikes, especially with family and friends. I enjoy being productive and getting things done!
