Due to his efforts and dedication, the 181st CBRN Company (HR) was able to maintain an overall readiness rating of 90%, and the company was able to successfully complete over 10 decontamination mission, which resulted in the decontamination of over 200 vehicles.
  • SPC Claire served as the recovery asset subject matter expert for 181st CBRN Company (HR) due to his astute knowledge base and critical thinking abilities. His dedication and professionalism afforded SPC Claire the ability to harness his expertise in sight assessment and play an integral part in over 15 successful recovery missions. Due to his efforts, the unit did not leave a single vehicle behind in more than 20 convoys the unit conducted. SPC Claire worked tirelessly to ensure the unit was mechanically maintained.

  • PFC Claire demonstrated flexibility and commitment to the mission by replacing and repairing three M26 decontamination engines that are essential to the readiness of the brigade within an eight hour period. He dedicated over 24 hours troubleshooting and installing essential components to keep the equipment fully mission capable. His hard work and dedication resulted in an overall 96 percent operation readiness rating for the company and permitted the unit to sustain capabilities as the decontamination asset.
