Dear Mr Johnson,
I would like to apply for the position of Youth Director at Johnson Indoor Sports Complex. I am a recent graduate with a degree in Sports Management. I have been involved in sports for most of my life.
For the past three seasons I worked as a Youth Soccer Coach with the Tri-County Recreational Soccer League where I taught soccer skills to boys and girls ages five through 12. I have excellent interpersonal skills with both children and their parents and I am familiar with all of the sports offered by your facility. I also possess superior writing skills and am comfortable using a variety of computer packages for record keeping.
In my academic studies I have learned about child development and team theories that will assist me greatly in directing the youth programs at a facility such as yours. Supervisors and parents have complimented me on my ability to motivate and reach kids while teaching them playing skills and teamwork. It would be a thrill to bring my knowledge and expertise to Johnson Indoor Sports Complex as your new Youth Director.
I am quite sure you will find me to be an outstanding candidate for the job. I hope to hear from you soon for an interview and look forward to speaking with you. I very much appreciate your consideration.
Best,
Jamya Patrick
