Dear Dr. Jackson,
I read with great interest your ad for a Medical Laboratory Technician and am submitting my resume for your review and consideration. I’ve worked in a medical clinic and two different hospitals and have experience in the areas of microbiology hematology and molecular biology. I would love to bring my skills to the Hampton Blood and Organ Bank.
In my current position I support cancer research professionals by performing various tests on tissue blood and other body fluids as directed. I report to the Lab Technologist and with her faith in my abilities have been asked to perform many complex tasks including examining immune system elements. I am experienced with sophisticated laboratory equipment used to look for parasites bacteria and other dangerous microorganisms. I’m only one semester away from my Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology which will provide excellence in my education and hopefully a future with added responsibility at Hampton. Testing tissue and blood samples to ensure that organ matches are viable enough to prolong someone’s life is more than rewarding and I’d like to be a part of the team that does that.
I look forward to your call at your earliest convenience to discuss this opportunity and to have chance to further explain what I can bring to the Hampton Blood and Organ Bank. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Maeve Guerra
