Dear Mr. Custer,
I was highly interested in your advertised Records Manager position and am writing in response. I have ten years of experience working as a Records Manager. In response to the changing ways in which business records are stored I went back to school and completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology seven years ago.
I have assisted my company in records management to change over to electronic storage methods. Business documents are now scanned in and stored in Cloud systems allowing for easy retrieval and cataloging. In this way business records can be securely stored and easily retrieved while saving on space and costs of maintaining a file room. My willingness to change methods with the times makes me a terrific prospect. My work allowed my company to make a painless transition to modern business document storage methods. As a strong proponent of electronic discovery methods I recognize that in today’s world businesses often unfortunately do get sued but e-discovery participation allows for the quick provision of relevant documents. I would be a great Records Manager addition for your company.
I would like to set up an interview time with you to discuss the position. Please contact me via phone to schedule.
Sincerely,
Jamya Patrick
