Ministry Management Plan
  • I understand my vocational call as more of counselor than an active pastor. I came to Campbell to get a better understanding of the church and the functions that operate within the kingdom. However, I am more drawn to the counseling side of ministry where I can be more hands on and encourage people in a creative style. I love to sit and listen to people's narrative of their lives and help facilitate their change within their speech and mindset. I honestly want to help people and I have found that being present with them in crisis situations is a good way to show them that God has not forgotten about them.
  • I feel that I have gained a few skills in becoming a counselor that will not only be helpful to those inside the church but also to the secular world. I have been able to assist with deescalating and stabilizing people of different ages and cultures with the various secular jobs that I have retained. I also am able to help people find and focus on the more positive parts of their lives sometimes through religious practices when mentioned. I have also learned to build a quick rapport with others in able to speak and encourage them.
  • My core values are that I love God, myself and my family and in that order. What are you "about" as a person and a minister? I love helping people and I want to help people like someone helped me, and that was by showing me that I was special and encouraging me to work to my fullest potential.
  • Mission statement in a sentence describe your mission To help youth by guiding their future toward positive goal setting and achieving.
  • Vision statement describe your dreams for the future both personally and vocationally. My vision is to be a youth counselor that can serve all ethnicity and religions
  • Short Term Goals: To finish Divinity School in December 2014. To reach $10,000 in my savings by graduation in May 2015.  To apply to get my MSW- Master in Social Work.  To lose 40lbs.
  • Long Term Goals:  To maintain a positive relationship with my significant other.  To continue to save money so I can pay my bills up to six months.  To pay off my mother’s house.  To pay off student loans.  To get married and start a family. To have my MSW by the age 35.  To apply and work for the CIA.
  •     Needs- in what areas do you need to grow to fulfill your vocation? I need to grow in the area of organization. I would love to plan events and activities in great detail. I will continue to work on my organizational skills in the present and future.
  • What else do you need in order to fulfill your personal and vocational goals? I believe that I will continue to need my family’s support, the will and the patience to get through school and the ambition to find out what all it will take for me to take my education to level the government will hire me to do counseling and assessments. In all I just need God to continue to keep his hand on my life.
