Additional Information

My well drilling experience dates back to 2006 when my mother met my step father. He graduated highschool and immediately moved from Michigan to Florida to start his drilling career. He has worked on virtually every type of drill rig from water wells to gas and oil. My first experience with drilling was a tripod used to retrieve core samples. From there I worked with him on Kelly driven rigs using mud rotary to complete water wells in the west central region of Florida. Later on I worked on a very small top drive rig with him doing core samples all over the Easter united states. I have taken rock core samples as well as becoming astm certified to complete lab work for PSI industries when the rig was down. After moving back to Florida I have gained more experience using the mud rotary system to complete hundreds of water wells working under some of the best drillers in central Florida. I have completed wells of my own and stepped in to drill for out of work drillers or on a day to day basis for my current driller. My experience ranges from repairs on service trucks and drill rigs, repairing hydraulic components, replacing u-joints and driveshafts, adjusting clutches, spooling Kelly and trip cables, rebuilding screw and piston driven mud pumps, and working on our back hoe when it is needing repairs. I have experience welding, being taught by drillers in the field as well as having a best friend who owns his own welding business teaching me mig and stick welding with the background of structural steel welding. I have fixed broken components of the drill rig by way of welding and fabricating new parts. I work in pump service and installation from time to time. I understand how to diagnose some pump problems and work with electric and diesel powered turbine pumps. I am currently studying for my CDL but have driven large trucks since I started in this industry.
