seeking internship/ on the job training in an automotive based job to gain hands-on experience. Eagre to learn and be an essential part of the team. I have had little to no help when learning how to repair cars at home with my dad who was an auto technician for 25+ years to understand parts of a vehicle and how to replace them. I can pretty much do any task given with a guide of help from someone which brings me to share that I do learn pretty quickIy. I know basic replacements of wheels, headlight bulbs, spark plugs , brake pads, gear shifting knobs, brake line draining (with help as I have only done that once)as well as able to basic task such as checking oil, raising the vehicle with a car Jack. I have worked on my own vehicles with detailing using products from home and some from the store that were provided to me allowing me to make a dirty car full of mold completely clean and good as new using various brushes including a toothbrush to get in the hard places. I also took the time to learn how to detail an egine bay using only degreaser, cloths and a squirt gun because I don't have a hose. With that, I would like to expand my skill set and learn how to deep clean a car with the proper equipment and learn how to wax and polish a car to make the exterior look like the car was just bought. Needless to say I am more than capable of learning how to get the job done and am willing to use what I am given to do what it take to become great at what I want to do. I would love to use this as an opportunity to be able some day fix my own car and future vehicles on my own as well as have the skills needed to be a good car mechanic or detailer.
Went through intensive hands on and class room training to aquire proper certification and training from entry level to fire 2 certification as well as Hazmat certification in order to be qualified for firefighting. This allowed me to go from a probationary member to my rookie year in the fire department, and gave me the certifications needed in order to better myself and my future in order to help protect the community as well as educate others on fire safety.
