Experience
Varsity Official - Girls, 08/2009 to Current
WIAA - Independent Contractor - Tacoma BoardCity, STATE,

As I am still a member of the WIAA, the previous responsibilities are still the same. The Tacoma WIAA has awarded me with additional games to my resume, which very few officials can claim. One of my proudest accomplishments is my appearance made three times at the State Tournament. Only a small fraction of officials in the state are selected to officiate at this level, which I attribute to my hard work and dedication to whatever job or task presents itself to me. I have also been given the honor of working at 28 district playoff games since making the move to Tacoma, which only a select group get to do. I was also recently awarded the Meritorious Service Award by the state WIAA Association for my dedication to my service.

Official and Administrator, 02/1997 to Current
Tumwater Youth BasketballCity, STATE,

As a Tumwater Youth Official and Administrator, I find myself officiating 6 to 12 games a weekend. These games are geared for boys and girls from 4th grade through the 12th grade. I have had the desire and willingness to fill-in for any officials that do not show up or arrive late, so that the kids do not feel any disruption. Not only do I hold myself to a high standard of punctuality, but I also hold my team of officials to that same standard. I have been given the authority to hand-pick and train my own officiating crew for each game and am required to schedule my team, as well as provide any communication or updates to them as well. I frequently provide extra training opportunities to my team and reward their work with additional scheduling hours. As being a leader in my field, I have also been willing to assist the Head Coordinator with any task or challenge that should arise; some examples included: stepping in when officials fail to show, scorekeeping when needed, overseeing all responsibility of running the tournaments when needed, driving from tournament site to tournament site to assist in facility clean-up after the day is done.

In-Home Elderly Care, 04/1997 to 07/2013
Family Sponsored Home-CareCity, STATE,

I have spent over a decade providing the daily personal care for an elder who suffered from Dementia. I provided daily physical and mental support, which required the highest level of patience and understanding. Do to financial constraints, I was required to be the sole provider in the day-to-day care, who recently passed-away.

Varsity Basketball Official - Boys and Girls, 08/1996 to 08/2009
WIAA Independent Contractor - South SoundCity, STATE,

As a member of the WIAA, I spent many years as a state association official in every school venue consisting of both junior high and high school games. I have been a referee for both girls and boys, 5th grade through 12th grade. I show up on-site, ready for work, at least 45 minutes before the start of the game and conduct/participate in pre-game meetings with fellow officials. I was required to maintain perfect attendance of associating meetings throughout the year for association training, which was never a problem for me. I have taken a lot of pride in my work, which shows in my completion of required tests and clinics with the highest grades. I also engaged associating voting, in which I was apart of the voting which raked other officials for the upcoming year.

Boys JV Basketball Coach, 10/2003 to 01/2004
Evergreen Christian CenterCity, STATE,

Job required me to watch all of the school's student-athletes (6th, 7th & 8th graders) that turned out for basketball tryouts and select a group for my team roster. After overseeing tryouts, I then engaged in extensive training and drill running with the student-athletes, in an attempt to boost their confidence, self esteem, teamwork and skill set. After teaching my team fundamentals and game strategy, I then took on the task of organizing team shuttles, events and awards.
