Serves as the principal administrator responsible for performance of a variety of technical, analytical, advisory, liaison and coordinating duties for the USAR Unit Commander in accomplishing the overall functions of the unit. Represents the Commander by establishing goals, objectives and prioritizing the overall readiness of the organization. Plans, reviews and establishes priorities; assigns and distributes the work of subordinate unit sections and personnel. Reviews incoming directives, and policies advising the Commander on those affecting overall unit functions ensuring compliance with regulations and internal controls. Develops, recommends and when directed, preps and executes appropriate action to implement changes.
Manages unit and individual training through Digital Training Management System (DTMS). Assists and provides guidance to the Commander in establishing training goals for the Battle Training Assembly (BTA) dates for the fiscal year. Recommends changes to the plans and training schedules. Arranges for the use of training aids and materials from the installation Training Audiovisual Support Center (TASC).
Manages personnel, finance, automated system activities and provides technical review of completed personnel actions (i.e., separations, discharges, retirements, reenlistments, promotions, awards, TPU transfers, adverse actions, enlisted and officer evaluations). Responsible for creating vouchers and scheduling personnel for dental and medical readiness through the Automated Voucher System (AVS).
Provided support to the management team in a variety of administrative tasks. Cleared flags in the mytime system and assessed attendance point for associates for unexcused absences and tardies. Collected and organized time off requests for Amazonians from managers and associates. Received approvals from managers for vacation requests are required. Ensured proper coding for "Time Paid Not Worked" and "Time Not Paid, Not Worked" such as Personal Time Off (PTO), Voluntary Time-Off (VTO). Identified, tracked and reconciled missing in, out and lunch punches. Created, printed and delivered attendance counseling sent out by HR to the managers. Entered status of the counselings into the AMP3 system and uploaded sensitive associate and manager reports into MyDocs.
Answered questions for Amazon associates on points/VCP/hours earned balances and assisted HR in deescalating discrepancies and situations. Launched a new facility site and assisted in the welcoming of Day 1 associates on opening day. Helped HR with the on-boarding of new associates through interviews, in-processing, briefings and orientations.

Set up new accounts and generated past due account reports and coordinated with the Finance Manager to initiated payment arrangements to include; disputes and late fees. Received and reviewed pay authorization documents to ensure accuracy, authentication and completeness in compliance with applicable regulations and policies before entering the Defense Military Pay Office (DMO) software. Processed a wide variety of pay entitlement actions and determined pay allowances to start, stop and adjust payments made to military service members for travel claims.
Managed personnel records for over 100 soldiers; daily personnel support and administrative readiness reports. Created and managed unit Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and changes. Generated training schedules and calendars for official duties.
Supported unit programs such as the Family Readiness Group (FRG) leader as the military liaison. Created outdoor and indoor activities for children, youth, parents and military personnel that promoted a safe and healthy environment for fitness, nutritional eating habits and deployment readiness.
