The paradigm was based on intervals of time, usually three or four weeks to six weeks that were centered around certain scriptural themes or Biblical characters. Many times the highlight of the various rotations or themes was a culminating activity, one of which was a Purim festival with the participation of a rabbi and the preparation of a Jewish meal. There were many other activities that were well received by children and adults. Instruction was for children, and adults were sometimes parents and other adults who volunteered to help with the process.
