Writing, painting, Gospel song writer and singer all are avocations.

I began painting landscapes in my twenties. It has served me well when dressing, painting and decorating sets.

I wrote my first song when I was in my teens. (Someday, I will get them properly transposed and recorded.)

I have written, as I stated earlier, for San Diego Union Tribune on the opinion page in years past. I also write poetry and short stories.

These, too, I hope to touch up and try to get published. I still enjoy singing, even if at my age, my voice is not what it once was.

I love teaching in any setting and hope that as we get settled in Seymour and at church I will have opportunities to do that.

God has blessed me with a wonderful second husband, John, whom I met on E-Harmony after the deaths of our spouses.

He has graciously used his artistic and carpentry skills to join me in Theatre work and teaching. He has taught Technical

Theatre as a walk on instructor at San Jacinto High School.
