I have a Down Syndrome brother who is 43 years old. I have taken care of him since he was born and I have been involved in every aspect of his life. I have been involved in his schooling which took place at Helen Davis til he was 21 and I even volunteered when he went there. He now attends UCP (United Cerebral Palsy) and I continue to stay involved during his time there. I love working and being around these group of people. I also worked at a group home for a few months before having to leave due to pregnancy. I would love to find a career which I could work with the disabled and be a positive influence in their lives.
