I am retiring from teaching after 25 years, and am venturing on a new path in customer relations. I have learned being the founder of my own non-profit international humanitarian organization, the Jessica Claire Foundation (MMF) that I love meeting people and helping them. I traveled to Africa in December and my MMF team and I supplied clean drinking water, a hot meal, and cooking supplies for three thousand people whose villages were attacked and families killed. Of 2,600 in the camp, mostly widowed women, 1,200 were children, and of them 37 orphaned. I spent sixteen days in Africa travelling through Nigeria to the camp site where the displaced people were and are still housed. Most of my team is Nigerian and we communicate via videoconferencing and messenger. My COO and I work closely on plans for the future of MMF to create sustainable living condition for those in need.

I love the atmosphere of Starbucks. Everyone is alway friendly, efficient, and courteous. The "coffeehouse" fill is what every writer enjoys: a bit of solitude with a great drink and meal. Also, a great place to congregate with friends and fellow writers, which I done a few times myself.
