Professional Summary

I'm a teacher who loves teaching. I taught in a regular classroom setting for 2 years and enjoyed seeing the students grow and learn. I then moved to a school for children with dyslexia and it changed how I look at teaching. I have grown in my ability to adapt a lesson, to see what the students need to be successful, to teach in a multi-sensory way, and to show my students how to love learning. Being a dyslexia therapy specialist (Orton-Gillingham curriculum) has grown me in ways I never imagined. I would love to continue teaching dyslexic learners, or be able to implement what I've learned into a regular classroom to strengthen comprehension.
