As a High school special education teacher I am organized, driven and effective at using efficient methods of teaching while focusing on the individual needs of each student. This experience comes with 12 years of teaching experience, one year employed with a federal agency working with at-risk teens and raising 4 children as a stay at home mom. In addition, I have developed and facilitate a distance learning course.

In my position, I instruct lessons through a multi-sensory approach in English to learning support students in grades 9-12. I am also and inclusion teacher in 7 classrooms each day. I provide specially designed instruction to all learning support students, monitor academic and behavior progress and keep my case load of 25 students' records current and up to date. I conduct small group and individual activities based on differentiated learning needs.
