Being a homeschool teacher to three, I was responsible for my children's education. I was able to determine at an early age by close observation that one of my children had a learning delay. I was able to address the concern with a doctor and seek professional help. By closely working with medical professionals I was able to help my child achieve better success.

I was responsible for developing lesson plans for each of my children and tailoring those plans to their strengths better helping them to learn.

I also mentored other homeschool students in our co-op to help them stay focused, get them excited about learning, and teach to their strengths while also identifying their weaknesses in various subjects and working with them to improve in those areas.

It was also my responsibility to set up a resource list for our homeschool co-op and provide a list of materials we needed to another member for goods to be ordered monthly.

Pae Government Services Inc - Task Manager
Montgomery, AL, 08/2012 - 09/2020
  • Organize tasks and responsibilities.
  • Set up schedules.
  • Handle appointments and arrange for transportation.

As a fulltime homemaker and teacher, it was my responsibility to organize meetings with other homeschool groups to better educate my children and ensure they were being properly socialized.

I was also responsible for setting up lesson plans, scheduling our work and daily chores. I made sure those schedules were followed to the best of our ability.

Being that things can change I have learned to be flexible with schedules, while also making sure that things that need accomplishing are accomplished by properly prioritizing, delegating and leading by example.

Self Employed - Financial Record Manager
City, STATE, 08/2012 - 10/2019
  • Kept financial records and managed budgets.
  • Kept bi-weekly, monthly and yearly projections.
  • Managed incoming/outgoing payments.
  • Renegotiated contracts.

I worked as a full-time homemaker and teacher.

I regularly set up our budgets, called companies to renegotiate contracts and setup customized contracts specifically made for us.

Not only was I responsible for our finances but in addition to this, I also maintained our household to keep a clean, working, nurturing environment.

I use Google sheets and docs to keep accurate records in addition to a notebook with pen and paper as I find it important to always keep a backup.
