I worked in the FMD classroom at Poage Elementary. I was the emergency substitute teacher until the current teacher graduated from college.
My duties in the classroom varied from day to day, but included working with small groups and individuals. I taught students with colors, shapes, numbers, letters, and sight words.
I also helped keep the room clean and safe for the children. As the substitute teacher, I kept records for assessments of individual students, and communicated with parents.
Substitute teacher from 1991 to 1995, then hired full time in 1995.
While substitute teaching, I worked in any classroom I was called for K-12. I never turned down a day of work.
Hired full time in 1995. During my time at South Point Schools, when administrative needs arose, I was asked to move positions many times. I gladly accepted these opportunities that challenged me and looked at them as a way to further my experience and become a multifaceted instructor.
I have taught the following classes:

*1st grade at risk class - 2 years
