6th Grade Full Inclusion Teacher

All students with various abilities were in full time inclusion. I was the first teacher in the district to implement full time inclusion. Positive results all the way around and this district continues to practice full time inclusion based on the foundation I provided.

I bought all gym equipment and all materials necessary to run the following programs because at that time there were no extra supplies to run these programs:

I created a program with the Reading Phillies where the baseball players came in to my school and read to every class and then I took the entire school to a Reading Phillies game free!

I was the first educator to become an IST teacher. I brought my school through 2 years of the Pennsylvania State Validation process.

Every year I made Thanksgiving Dinner for my students and their families and served them dinner every year.
