This past year I was able to do several different jobs for Intuit. In the fall of 2018 I was able to help the Extenders complete their returns. I then assisted the customers in the Pre-Consult role, explaining the new tax law. During the 2019 filing season for 2018 returns, I was assigned offline reviews. As one of the top Reviewers, I was then called upon to review others offline reviews. I absolutely loved that part of my job.
It was during the 2019 filing season that I discovered, I was spending more time answering others questions if I had any down time. In fact, I found that if I had a question for a lead, they usually just agreed with what I had concluded.
During the 2020 season, assisting with 2019 returns, not only did I work through the filing season, for which the due date was July 15, 2020 but, I didn't finish the season until August 5, 2020. This season including many questions about the Cares Act and the stimulus checks as well as several International questions because agencies were not open for VISAs to be renewed. This extended season covered many IRS questions since IRS employees could not be reached due to the shutdown.
