Department Of Veterans Affairs – Lafayette , LA
  • Created master notification roster for all 51 Commanding Officers to quickly and efficiently send important information and updates to leaders in charge of over 40,000 Marines and Sailors to make all personnel aware of upcoming events, opportunities, and overall accountability of everyone aboard Camp Lejeune.
  • This master roster is updated every quarter to ensure that all Commanding Officers are current and still remain on Camp Lejeune to maintain line of communication.
  • Retrieved information from 1,489 Marines records that checked in through Inbound New Join section to identify wrong or missing documentation pertaining to these Marine which later improved their inspection percentage from 65% to 89% as well as preparing them for future inspections done by Headquarters Marine Corps.
  • Each Marine had 22 different pieces of documentation to be verified across 3 databases.
  • Held mass briefings with senior leaders and officers after all 11 inspections to discuss what was found and gave insight on how to eliminate future discrepancies for each section.
  • Managed inspection of 463 Marines processed through Legal Section to verify all Legal documentation was correctly filled out and all procedures for punishment were followed.
  • As well as ensuring all documents were uploaded into each member's personal profile.
  • Supervised, lead, mentored, and trained 36 Marines assigned to Quality Control Branch resulting in 10 Marines being promoted to their next rank. Each month every Marine would be evaluated on their performance for that month and then would be given feedback on how they can improve to be more competitive for promotion and better themselves as a Marine whether that be through physical fitness, education or stepping up as a leader.
  • Created weekly schedule for discrepancy reports to be released to each section of Installation Personnel Administration Center allowing all 6 sections to track what reports each week they were responsible to fix and complete.
  • Also created 4 folders where reports are pulled from for every week of every month to make clerk's job easier to identify what reports needed pulled by adding all 50 reports into each designated folder for easy tracking and distribution.
  • Verified and distributed 65 discrepancy reports to respective section to help identify common trends that were incorrect with documentation and processes each section performs on daily basis, within 2 months discrepancy report rate was below 22%.
Combat Marksmanship Coach, 08/2018 to Current
Asrc Federal Holding Company – Reston , VA
  • Equipped and trained 53 Marines from entry-level to more experienced on the knowledge and function of the M4 service rifle as well as an additional 20 Marines on the Beretta M9 service pistol.
  • Each Marine is evaluated on how they score during the course of fire, during that time 91% of the Marines qualified.
  • Supervised group and individual live fire with no safety violations or incidents.
  • Determined what approach or corrective action each shooter needed to take to obtain the bare minimum qualification of Marksman.
  • Evaluated individual knowledge, skills and strengths and assigned team positions to maximize talent areas.
Administrative Specialist, 03/2017 to 07/2019
U.S. Marine Corps – City , STATE
  • Reviewed and typed 4,000 sets of Permanent Change of Station Orders for Marines aboard Camp Lejeune transferring to domestic and foreign locations.
  • Orders are typed, verified and certified no later than 2 days before the Marine is set to pick them up, the section was operating far beyond the bare minimum by having orders certified 2 weeks ahead of the Marine receiving them.
  • Designed a tracking and filing system for the entire workplace to have 100% accountability of documents and packages for all customers by utilizing an empty filing cabinet that was updated and verified at the end of every week to ensure all packages were accounted for and were in the respective sections cabinet.
  • Trained 25 Marines to correctly type all sets of Orders for Marines traveling to foreign and domestic locations with 100% accuracy.
  • Verified over 13,000 sets of Permanent Change of Station and Permanent Change of Assignment Orders to allow Marines to have a smooth transition.
  • Overcame losing internet and the ability to type orders by designing a template to type orders within Marine Corps Correspondence specifications when no internet access was available.
  • With this being done, all Marines executing orders were still able to receive their orders in a timely manner.
  • Supervised, mentored and trained 21 Marines assigned to the IPAC Orders section.
  • At the end of each month every Marine would be evaluated on their performance for the month and then would be given feedback on how they can improve to be more competitive for promotion and better themselves as a Marine whether that be through physical fitness, education or stepping up as a leader.
  • 8 of the Marines were promoted to the next rank, 2 being promoted early to the next rank via meritorious promotion due to constant dedication, great work ethic and going above and beyond the normal expectations of a Marine.
  • Delivered top-notch administrative support to office staff, promoting excellence in office operations.
Military ID Card Administrator, 10/2017 to 04/2018
U.S. Marine Corps, ID Card Center – City , STATE
  • Issued 800 official Department of Defense identification cards to employees and family members aboard Camp Lejeune.
