I am passionate about what I do. I am employed by the agency, but work for the population of the people in which I serve. I am competent and skilled as a counselor dealing with substance abuse, domestic violence, and social factors leading to lack of optimal functioning. I am a change agent. My goal is to present the population of people that I serve, with the knowledge and education as well as the tools to move beyond there current status and into a more desirable status; therefore yielding the outcomes in which they seek. I am able to maintain professional boundaries, yet treat each client like the deserving human beings that they are. I believe in people, despite the situation. I am a hopeless optimist of the human race. Meeting each individual where they are in there situation is my goal and assisting them towards, their goals is my mission.
