Compassionate teacher with 3 years of experience teaching and co-teaching in the Early childhood field. Skilled in lesson-plan design, monitoring student progress and implementing modern systems to optimize educations. Dedicated to comprehensive student education and long-term success.
My philosophy in Early Childhood Education is that play base is a way of learning in which children are thinkers, explorers, and discovering scientist. Purposeful play is what I encourage and hope to achieve in a classroom setting because children are learning through their process of their efforts. This allows children to gain knowledge and build from what they have learned. I strongly believe that having a classroom in which not only are students involved but in which parents feel welcomed and are encourage to be part of their children's learning process.
Club Member at Early Childhood Studies (ECS) I became part of the ECS Club at Cal Poly Pomona when I transferred from Chaffey college. I was given the opportunity to meet teachers, professors, and people in the profession of Early Childhood Education. The club allowed me to have many opportunities in networking and collaborating with other educators in the field.
ECS club provided me with a community of resources and taught me about the importance of teamwork as well as leadership and collaboration among educators. Fall 2019- Spring 2021 45 hours – Lesson Plans, Fundraisers, Club Meetings, Seminars
