National Spanish Honor Society- Establisheda chapter at Parkland High School, El Capitulo Puente, in December of 2004. Served as the chapter adviser from December 2004- June 2011. Planned the annual induction ceremony, completed fundraisers, built homecoming floats, contributed to worthwhile causes, promoted language use and cultural awareness.
Professional Language Workshops- Organized a World Language Workshop for all area districts and the Parkland World Language Department with guest speaker John DeMado. August 2012 Planned and facilitated several departmental workshops on World Language pedagogy.
