  • From 2012 to 2018, SFC Aguilar served with the Army Reserve Career Group Area 7 in El Paso TX. While serving in Area 7 he was recognized as the top Army Reserve Career Counselor from 2015 to 2017 for Area 7. He competed in the ARCC of the Year Board and was able to complete his Masters of Science with a GPA of 4.00. SFC Aguilar also completed Battle Staff and was recognized for being in the top 20% among his peers.
  • Served as an Army Reserve Recruiter with the Dallas Battalion from 2006 to 2012 in Dallas, TX. He recruited a total of 182 new recruits making him the top USAR Dallas Battalion recruiter for 2007, 2008 and 2009. While fighting the loss of his daughter, SFC Aguilar continued to overcome these challenges and was awarded the Glenn E. Morrell Award (with Ring), Army Recruiting Gold Badge (with 3 Gold Stars) and Recruiter ring to include multiple Brigade Warrior Squad awards.
  • While converting his MOS to a Patient Administration Specialist SGT Aguilar was in the top 10% of his class. As a Patient Administration Specialist SGT Aguilar was assigned as the Substance Abuse Program Coordinator. He was responsible for conducting urinalysis testing for both the 4005th USAH in Lubbock TX and 4005th USAH in Houston TX and achieved 100% testing of over 400 Soldiers. SGT Aguilar was also chosen to participate in fallen Soldier ceremonies during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Nobel Eagle.
