Professional Summary

I have been in the field of childcare and Early Education for 15 years.

10 of those years I have spent building and running a successful Home licensed childcare teaching and caring for children 0-12 years.

Children are my absolute passion and I can't imagine doing anything else. I previously was a preschool and pre-k teacher for 5 years but my experience and training is with all ages.

I was an interim Assistant Director for a few months prior to going on Maternity leave and deciding afterwards to open my own childcare, to be with my own son and raise him, when I found out the company I was working for went Under and is no longer around.

I have an Early Education Degree with a focus in preschool Curriculum and have dabbled a little in School-Aged children care and tutoring; My true passion.

I have hundreds of hours and years of Professional development and experience that I have earned and use my training to care and teach children.

I have great Time/Classroom management skills.

As a self employed provider I am in charge of all business aspects in its entirety. Including but not limited too, created all files, websites, social media, handbooks, contracts, policies, and scheduling for all potential clients. All office related work and Bookkeeping. I Maintained all files for children and staff required by the state. I Created all Curriculum, activities and all other planning and designing of the childcare.

I am a Caring, Reliable and passionate Childcare Provider experienced in keeping kids safe while nurturing development with age-appropriate activities. Strong verbal and written communication skills, organized nature and proactive approach to solving problems and managing conflict.

I am an Attentive Director/Childcare Provider with a background caring for multiple children simultaneously by myself. I am a Positive role model focused on supporting development and teaching new skills.

I am Certified in first aid and CPR and AED along a certified Mandated Reporter. I am licensed through the state of California Community Care licensing Division and have annual checks to ensure the Health and Safety of all children in my care is in compliance with the rules and regulations set forth in Title 22.

I have had the opportunity To teach and raise some of the most amazing children over the years and I feel blessed to have been given that opportunity. Sadly, Like many other businesses out there, this pandemic has really affected so many and I am now seeking to find something I can do to supplement income while hoping the childcare business at some point picks back up.

I am hoping my experience and knowledge will help me find a great place to be a part of.
