My name is Donna Milton and I am a retired teacher (2nd and 3rd grades) and several years as a high school librarian, and, trust me, a high school librarian prepares you for all sorts of writing. I saw and read students' essays before their English or Social Studies teachers did. I learned some very interesting facts from those essays, facts I didn't know before. And we had a track coach of some note, at our high school, and at times he would be asked to write an article for his professional magazine, which he then asked me to proofread. Basically, I am all about the written word and how those words can be used most simply and succinctly to convey ideas, thoughts, actions, and creationsin short, all the things the human mind can dream up. And many, many times all those words used to convey ideas, thoughts, etc., can get all twisted up. That's where my job as a proofreader/editor comes inuntwist all those words to make the thoughts coherent and understandable.
