I have worked in the restaurant industry since High School. My two previous jobs I had before I started bartending at Lupe tortilla were working besides my mom and learning how to manage restaurants and how to build businesses from nothing. I decided to work at Lupe Tortilla because I had the desire to better myself everyday and while working with my mom I found myself working 60-70 hours a week without really finding the time to spend quality time to improve myself . After I parted ways with my mom I have found time to buy and completing online seminars and also reading books about self improvement, marketing, and business related books . I had the opportunity to do door to door sales and get the sales experience I was looking for, and i also got to develop my leadership skills and my team building abilities. I truly believe in working hard to succeed in life. I want to chase my goals of being an entrepreneur and own several real estate properties with a company that can help me reach my goals of self improvement by offering real challenging situations and learning from successful people
As a sales rep for we are think, I started doing sales only. We were working with AT&T, so my job consisted on going door to door increasing the brand awareness of the company and increasing the customer acquisition, after getting people on board with AT&T I had to follow up to make sure they were happy with their services and also make sure that everything got installed correctly . It took me a week to get promoted to Corporate Trainer, as a corporate trainer I developed skills on learning all the systems that were provided to us by the company. My role also required me to interview people on behalf of the company on a daily basis plus taking people to the field and teach them the systems plus our selling techniques. Before I decided to part ways with the company I got to grow my team up to 3 members and produce a $6,000 dollar wire in a week. My biggest accomplishments at the company were: getting promoted in a week, being the #1 rep at the office for consecutive weeks, taking people to the field on a daily basis and help them getting promoted, and also getting one of my team members promoted in a span of 3 days.
