Highly motivated and hard working mother of 2 boys. In my last 20 years I have raised 2 young men to be responsible, kind, smart, hard working and respectful to their peers and adults. Staying home with them, I was able to help them both achieve their goals while giving them 110% of my love and support. My oldest son who works through Dyslexia and A.D.D. was able to graduate from High School with a 3.4 Grade Point average and he also won 4 medals in State for Swimming. He won 2 top 7th place medals in the 100 freestyle and the 200 free relay. Michigan times were the fastest in the nation. He was the captain of both his swim team for 2 years and his water polo team. He won 16th place in backstroke and 13th place in 200 medley relay. I worked with him at home to help him with his school work, and used new methods to train his brain for memorization. I was also responsible for his nutrition and early morning and after school training. He just finished his first year at GVSU with a 3.00 GPA while swimming for their swim team. He is such a wonderful young man and remained very responsible at school while swimming full time on the GVSU swim team and keeping his grades up with a full load. My youngest son has a bone disorder and he has had a partial foot amputation and he has had 3 bone lengthening procedures. He has also had 3 femur breaks and a tibia break because of this disorder. I was able to stay home with him and take care of him while he was going through these tough procedures. While he was home I took care of any nursing needs and wound care, and I would home school during these times. It created such a loving bond between us. He is an amazing young man with so many accomplishments for his young age of 17. He is graduating this year with a 3.70 GPA. and he took both Honors classes and A.P. classes. He is a runner up for the Governors Award when he was 16 for playing water polo with one foot. He played water polo on the Rockford State winning water polo team from 8th grade to 12th grade. He was the captain of his water polo team and his swim team. He made his state cut in swimming for the backstroke, but wasn't able to compete because of the Corona Virus. He just made 2 Para-Olympic American records in the 50 yard and 100 yard backstroke and then 2 weeks later beat those times. He was a starter and the best offensive and defensive player on his team. He was Honorable mention for All Conference. He was voted 2nd team for Regional water polo by regional coaches and All Region 2nd team. He was also honorable mention for the state tournament where his team took 3rd place. He is also an Academic All American Water Polo player. Kyle has been written about in the Detroit Free Press on the front page and USA Today around the world. Both my boys have received numerous awards for academics and sports. They both have also played in Junior Olympic water polo Tournaments in California. I have volunteered as room mother in school, and organized meals for the team away on tournaments. I loved being such a big part of my boys lives. I have an amazing husband who is also part of their successes. I just wanted you to know what I have been doing for the past 20 years. I take any job on with love, hard work, and determination. I love working with people and I have great customer service and care. I am usually in a happy and positive mood, and I think I could be a great asset to any business because of my work ethic and experience in sales and leadership skills.
