As a sales associate for the Smart Home Pros with Vivint, I presumed the responsibilities of becoming an independent door-to-door sales professional. I had never had any experience with sales of this nature prior to my experience working with the company, but with the way the training program sculpts its pupils, it was only a matter of a couple days of being trained on how to perform and execute the job responsibilities before I was sent out into the workforce to give my best attempt at reciprocating the knowledge and direction I had been given to complete the execution of a sale. As an extremely quick learner, I actually sold an account my very first day going out on my own to knock doors which is extremely rare for brand new recruits. Additionally, I also sold an account every day my first week on the job and by the time my first sales season was completed in August of 2015, I had established myself as the top prospect in my office from the rookie class of that year. During my training period with Vivint, I learned that they boast award winning smart home automation and home security services that are paralleled by no other company in the industry. It became my responsibility to apply the knowledge I had obtained about the company itself, the products being offered, and the way that Vivint's system could impact and benefit the lives of potential clients with the ways that the systems are custom designed to provide newly developed aspects of control and monitoring that ultimately build a huge safety net of peace of mind for the client.

As a previous employee for Quiznos, I can truly say that I had a very positive experience in my time with the company as I was offered a position that actually gave me two completely different set of responsibilities under the same roof of business. My first set of responsibilities as a Quiznos employee entailed the classic constituents of a sandwich artist/cashier. Any concerns or questions presented by a guest were expected to be handled efficiently and accurately to ensure the proper flow of customer traffic and keep waiting times to a bare minimum. Occasionally, if I was scheduled to work on the day of a supply shipment, I would additionally be responsible for the intake of the order and documenting its arrival as well as documenting each individual item that had arrived so that the reassurance of inventory accuracy was existent. In addition to these tasks and responsibilities, I was also hired for an entirely separate purpose. In the process of being interviewed, my manager Ravi took a particular interest in my high school course work experience as well as the current collegiate endeavors I had at the time. She became informed that I had over four years of marketing experience by being submersed in the very advantageous marketing academy department offered at my high school. Additionally, I was going to college to obtain my bachelor's degree in business at Florida State University so it was made very clear exponentially that my knowledge and experience would be of great use for the development of a practical marketing model to be utilized at the store. With the intention of utilizing my skills and knowledge to bring in a more numerous customer base, I was given the responsibility of solely executing the marketing plans and additionally establishing a brand new service of delivery for our clients. With these tasks on hand, I was required to stop by local business fronts and pass out food coupons as well as very briefly explain to the prospective office what current promotions are in place in attempt to gain their business. I would attempt to get a sale right on the spot and have an order called back into the shop so I could go back to pick it up and hand deliver it to my new client. I was solely responsible for managing the data that defined my client base which consisted of new clients, repeat clients, prospects, leads and references.
At Nino's Pizza & Café, I was introduced to the workforce as this was the first job I had ever held. When I was hired at Nino's I began to learn the ins and outs of the restaurant and hospitality industry which was very easy for me to enjoy as it pairs very well with my personality and resultantly led to the sharpening of my work place performance. I had been offered an entry level position of bussing tables and making minimum wage to do so and I couldn't have been more thrilled to do so because it truly taught me to value myself, my time and my worth going forward into new jobs and experiences. We must always remember where we started and use it to sculpt our behaviors and performances for the future.
