Work History
Sales Associate, 12/2014 to 04/2017
Spruce Finance – Mill Valley , CA

As a sales associate for the Smart Home Pros with Vivint, I presumed the responsibilities of becoming an independent door-to-door sales professional. I had never had any experience with sales of this nature prior to my experience working with the company, but with the way the training program sculpts its pupils, it was only a matter of a couple days of being trained on how to perform and execute the job responsibilities before I was sent out into the workforce to give my best attempt at reciprocating the knowledge and direction I had been given to complete the execution of a sale. As an extremely quick learner, I actually sold an account my very first day going out on my own to knock doors which is extremely rare for brand new recruits. Additionally, I also sold an account every day my first week on the job and by the time my first sales season was completed in August of 2015, I had established myself as the top prospect in my office from the rookie class of that year. During my training period with Vivint, I learned that they boast award winning smart home automation and home security services that are paralleled by no other company in the industry. It became my responsibility to apply the knowledge I had obtained about the company itself, the products being offered, and the way that Vivint's system could impact and benefit the lives of potential clients with the ways that the systems are custom designed to provide newly developed aspects of control and monitoring that ultimately build a huge safety net of peace of mind for the client.

  • During the entire time I worked for Vivint, I was able to maintain the highest RMR (Residual Monthly Rate) for all sales associates in the office. In simpler words, I sold the highest priced packages of smart home systems to my clients of anyone in my entire office. In the entire nation for the Vivint sales force, my RMR reigned amongst the top 5 of any employee in the entire company.
