Highly motivated Sales Associate with extensive customer service and sales experience. Along with the sales side of my job experience I can also work a labor intensive job or one that requires more thought, understanding and communication with a client or co-workers. I enjoy working with people and assisting them as much as I can but at the same time I'm flexible and work well by myself also. Being someone who detailed cars for a portion of time I take pride in the work I do and I like to make sure that the job is done right before I move onto the next task.

So along with all the previously mentioned skills from my prior sales position. I also now have a more organized process from beginning to end. This is still similar in the sense that I greet customers and interview them figuring out what they want. But now I also take care of more financing responsibilities whether that's showing terms and interest rates that go with it. Or breaking down accruing interest amounts during the time of the loan to help my client understand that maybe there is no discount on the vehicle but they're saving a lot just by getting said loan through one of our lenders. Now objections and overcoming them is something I still am working on but I have certainly gotten better at reading body language and understanding peoples tone and their intentions behind it. One last thing with the Sales Associate positions is that they also required typically 50 hour work weeks so I have gotten used to longer than 8 hour shifts but would not complain with having one that's for sure.
Now for the sales side of it I did everything from greeting the client when they were on the lot browsing cars to interviewing them to best figure out their needs and using the knowledge I have of cars and the features they come with to find what would best suit them as well. At the dealership there were occasions were I would have a client with a constrained budget. Having to work around this I would either help understand their finances and land them on a car in their budget, or even in some occasions we would discuss their spending habits briefly and I could explain how if they fit their budget within the car that they love rather than vice versa they will be happier because it has all the features they were looking for and can realistically afford.
As a Detailer my responsibilities consisted of detailing new and used cars that were sold or cleaning up trade-ins. I also managed the lot inventory and made sure the cars were in order and if there were window stickers missing I would take care of it. I even frequently drove hours away to other dealerships to execute a dealer exchange were we traded one of our vehicles for one of theirs. This position taught me the importance of time management and making sure I had enough time to either get all my tasks done by the end of the day. Or even working efficiently so whatever car I was cleaning would be ready by the time the customer who just purchased it was finished up the purchase process. Driving as far as I did during the dealer exchanges also helped out in my driving skills and taught me to be more observant of my surroundings.
I worked outside splitting wood, mowing grass, and weed whacking. I loved the physical labor side of the work but the monotony of the job was not ideal. I also had another co-worked who I worked well with and he spoke very minimal english, so I would say that the job taught me a lot about communication and body language. As well as working together to get a job done more efficiently.
