I'm a flexible worker. Once I become part of the team I shift my thinking from being self-focused to concentrating on what's best for the group, meaning temporarily setting aside my preferred modes of working and adopting the rules, protocols and work practices of the team. I'm a good listener. I'm very comfortable in participating through listening and am fairly quiet. When necessary, I'm open minded and will voice my opinions. I accept constructive criticism rather than becoming defensive. Useful critiques are an opportunity to improve the value of the team. Accepting criticism with an open mind, I'm willing to explore alternative solutions. Ill offer critiques to others in a direct and respectful manner, and try to inspire others to want to improve their work. Im all in, I won't hide behind the team. I'm serious about my shared responsibilities as I am about my individual ones. I won't put the teams needs to the back burner while pursuing individual initiatives. Through my actions, not just my words, I show I'm "all in" when it comes to team success. I go with the flow. I won't let hiccups in plans discourage me and use them as an excuse to lesson my commitment, and accept the things I can change quickly. I stay focused on what the team and myself need to do to get back on track and address the challenge at hand.
