Analyze our performance vs. forecasts to ensure positive results of the implemented strategies based upon my recommendations. Conduct displacement analysis of group business, as needed, to determine the impact potential business will have on RevPAR. Review all tentative and definite group bookings, to ensure that they support implemented strategies. Complete weekly booking pace analysis, to recommend strategy changes when needed as well as analyze past and present trends to make sound recommendations for future strategies. Responsible for all weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasting and heavily involved in the budgeting process as required by my management company, using RM Systems, Sales and PM Systems to assist in the developing of annual transient pricing.
Through the review of competitive shops, the ability to identify selling strategies and recognizing trends within the market, I am able to provide an accurate competitive and demand analysis that allows me to implement pricing strategies that have been proven effective for my hotel. These strategies have also allowed us to maintain a long standing position as leaders within our market and the City.
