Region 8 Director for CARS+ (California Association of Resource Specialists and Special Educators) from 2007-2010. Coordinated membership for six counties, gave inservices and talks across the region on a variety of topics current to special education, kept membership abreast of current issues statewide in our field, answered members questions about the law and other issues in special education, wrote articles for the CARS+ quarterly newsletter.
Co-Presenter on CMA (California Modified Assessment) at CARS+ Convention, February 2011 and at Special Education staff meetings for San Luis Coastal Unified School District.
President of Central Coast CARS+ local chapter from 2002-2007. Supported local special educators issues and questions.

Conduct small group and individual classroom activities with students based on differentiated learning needs.Establish and communicate clear objectives for all lessons, units and projects based upon students IEP goals and grade level standards.
