I was offered a job for $50 an hour helping to clean up the Exxon Valdez oil spill. My parents said I could take the job and quite high school if I had my GED. In some ways I regret not staying in school but it was an adventure I will never regret.
It was a class required to work at Detante. It taught us how to listen to our patients and how to work with them to provide care. We also did counseling for issues we had that needed to be worked out in our selves. It made me a better care giver and person.
