Studied the mitigating role of vitamin A and kalmegh (Andrographis paniculata) on arsenic-induced neuro and genotoxicity in mammals.

Arsenic induced free-radical toxicity and distorted the TCA cycle intermediates in cerebral hemisphere and cerebellum of mice. Chromosomal mutations and anomalies were observed in human blood. The ameliorative properties of vitamin A and kalmegh were studied in this regard.
