I am a hardworking, dedicated, and self motivated individual who has a passion for the medical field. As a psychology major fulfilling pre-med requirements I have gained hands on clinical experience being a board member for the Global Medical chapter at UCSD as well as a Research Assistant at the south Bay Latino Research conducting research through Scripps Health. As I continue to pursue a career in the medial field I strive to gain more clinical experience working with patients as well as gaining experience in different aspects of our healthcare system, as I believe it is all crucial to becoming a healthcare professional.
I am currently a research assistant at the South Bay Latino Research Center, where research is conducted through Scripps Mercy in Chula Vista. The Mi Puente project studies the Cardio Metabolic Health of Latinos in the San Diego border region.
