I have been an Occupational therapist for over 20 years during which time I have become confident and accomplished in assessing patient conditions, planning treatments and checking progress. I have been successful in my OT career using a combination of biomechanical approach, holistic perspective and psychosocial framework to meet goals and improve outcomes for patients of varying ages and with multiple diagnoses. I am skilled at collaborating in team environments, updating charts and documenting results of interventions. I have spent half of my career as a traveling Occupational Therapist. During this time I learned to quickly adapt to changes in settings, EMR systems, patients and co workers. I am also self motivated and skilled at problem solving, seeking out guidance when needed and being efficient. I am currently a Licensed Occupational Therapist in the states of Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Of note due to Covid I was furloughed from my home health position at Home Health Foundation and subsequently laid off in July 2020. I was rehired by them but now out of the Bedford NH office in 12/20.
I also have a very long list of previous jobs that I can provide as needed. As a traveler my jobs changed every 3-6 months and the list is approximately 4 pages including the employers, dates of employment and job description. My primary areas of work have been in skilled nursing facilities, outpatient and home health. I have also worked in several acute and subacute hospitals, a couple include Spaulding Rehab and New England Baptist Hospital in Boston Ma.
I am a lifelong learner and understand the importance of professional development. Keeping my skills and knowledge current is a priority as the world of therapy continues to evolve.
After I was laid off I realized I had an opportunity to persue my interest in women's health. I actually had time to explore and find out if it was something I was interested in. Since I started my first course with Laura Rowan I haven't stopped. I continue to learn and have taken several courses and am currently in the process of finishing my teacher training with Lauren Ohayon to become a Restore Your Core teacher (anticipate a completion date in June). I am very self motivated, a quick learner and ready to put my skills to work.
