I am a Registered EEG Technician currently working @ Children's Hospital CO. I work Monday and Tuesday in Colorado Springs @ the Children's Hospital site, obtaining Out Patient EEGs, Preparing reports and communicating with the reading Epileptologist. Wednesday through Friday I work @ the Aurora Campus in EMU, as well as ED, Med Surge, PICU, and NICU obtaining EEGs as well as "pruning" them and preparing them to be read by one of our Epileptologists.
I was the Co-ordinator for St.Thomas More Hospital EEG/Sleep lab. I collected all In and Out Patient EEGs and sent them to St. Mary Corwin Hospital for Read. We were a satellite of that hospital, which was a program that I helped to set up in 1998. I also ran sleep studies, and scored and prepared them for Physician read. I worked with Physicians and Hospital staff.
I was a student of Steve Rondorff who was hired to Manage and Supervise the EEG and Sleep Study Lab @ St. Mary Corwin Hospital, Pueblo CO. He started a 2 yr program to prepare myself as well as other EEG and Sleep technicians for Registery in 2002-2003. I then obtained my Sleep Registry in Dec of 2006.
I write children's music and am spending time pursuing getting some of my work published.
