Responsible for proposing and executing grants, managing the Coos County Medical Reserve Corps by running meetings and recruiting new members, and staff while also helping run COVID-19 vaccination clinics. Also ran a few miscellaneous tasks to assist county response, including medical fit testing and delivery of materiel such as testing kits and body bags.
Served as an Americorps VISTA for two years under the Oregon Health Authority, working under the Public Health Emergency Preparedness office at Coos Health and Wellness. The role primarily concerned itself with bolstering the response capability of the MRC and the community at large to disaster.
