Owned, operated, and managed a 33,000 Sq. Ft. computerized greenhouse based on the principles of Good Agricultural Practices. Supervised up to 8 employees in commercial production of 120 tons of hydroponic vegetables annually. Operations included transplant production, planting, pest management, harvesting and packaging. Maintained an excellent working relationship with vendors and customers. Performed variety evaluation and selection based on customer requirement. Promoted superior quality of products and production processes through effective leadership and communication. Conducted small-scale contract-testing and evaluation of cucumber varieties for Australian seed company Abundant Produce.
Note:This farm started with installation and operation of a 11,000 Sq. Ft. commercial greenhouse operation of soil-grown vegetables (Cucumbers, tomatoes, and strawberries) in 1997 which was expanded to a 33,000 Sq. Ft. hi-tech greenhouse facility in 2010.
