Manage all aspects of the Foster/Rescue Department including, but not limited to:

  • Coordinate with interdepartmental staff, interns, and volunteers to identify those animals in most need of temporary foster care and/or transfer to an approved rescue partner.
  • Ensure all active fosters are adequately trained for each assignment; identify, propose, and provide new opportunities for continuing education and advancement.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment and outreach strategies to expand the organization's current foster network and coalition of rescue partners.

Recently selected to attend a training session on the Maryland Public Information Act (MPIA), set to take place on July 15, 2016.
